Through our environmental education program, we aim to raise awareness about the impact of noise on Galápagos ecosystems. We work with institutions, communities, and schools to inspire real change toward a more harmonious coexistence with biodiversity.

Its objective is to provide participants with a technical introduction to the fundamentals of environmental noise, general measurement criteria, basic interpretation of results, and the use of the information generated as input for the development of the environmental noise map of the Santa Cruz canton.

The central objective of this session was to define an operational, technical and legal mechanism for noise control, through a space for training, review of progress and inter-institutional articulation that allows to promote the establishment of an inter-institutional agreement between the Municipal Government of Santa Cruz, the Galapagos National Park.
