Our Action for Galápagos
Noise Map Development
Mause over: We create the first Noise Map of Santa Cruz and Baltra to measure the impact of human activities and support environmental regulation.
Marine Monitoring Network
Mause over: We seek funding for hydrophone buoys that record underwater noise, prevent ship collisions with species, and protect coral
ecosystems.
Education & Awareness
Mause over: Through surveys, talks, and workshops, we raise awareness in schools and communities about the impact of noise on biodiversity.
Terrestrial Monitoring Stations
Mause over: We install four real-time stations in key areas like Baltra,
Puerto Ayora, and Tortuga Bay to track acoustic pollution.
